Car Transporter Driver

Due to expansion, our client, one of the UK’s leading vehicle collection and delivery companies, is seeking experienced professional drivers to join their team. The role involves operating a range of vehicles, including 7.2-ton twin-deck sleeper cab car transporters towing a 3.5-ton single car trailer, pick-ups with trailers, and 3.5-ton single car carriers. Key Responsibilities: * Safely collect, deliver, and appraise new and used vehicles across the UK, primarily to end users and for home deliveries, using MoDel and an in-house appraisal app. * Conduct accurate vehicle appraisals before loading and obtain customer signatures upon collection/delivery. * Maintain excellent customer service standards. * Use company-provided mobile devices for electronic vehicle inspections and photos. Requirements: * A valid Class 1 or C1E licence (without a 107 restriction) to tow a 3.5-ton car trailer behind the 7.2-ton truck. * A digital tachograph card and current Driver CPC qualification. * A full UK driving licence. * Previous experience in a similar role. * Proficiency with multiple electronic devices. * Flexibility for nights away (2–3 per week on average) and occasional weekend work. * A smart, punctual, and reliable demeanor with a self-motivated, can-do attitude.
