Nigel James Associates are collaborating with a top UK wealth manager to secure an experienced Financial Planner to join their Exeter office. The role will be to take over a proportion of an existing client portfolio of HNW clients whilst proactively building out the book. Full Admin and Paraplanning support will be provided. This would be a senior hire for the team/business and looking for somebody with gravitas that is used to working with HNW clients (min £500k investments with the average investment hovering around £1m).
Requirements
- You will be an established and experienced Financial Planner who is used to working with HNW clients and someone who has the proven ability to be able to secure new business through internal stakeholder relationships and externally through networking and professional introducer relationships.
- You will be Chartered qualified given the nature of the clients you will receive. However, our client is not adverse to considering someone who has a minimum Level 4 qualification and on their way to Chartered, having already completed some AF exams.
- As this is a senior hire our client is considering somebody that is currently managing/overseeing others as part of managing a large portfolio of clients as there is the real possibility of this progressing into a senior team leader position within the next few years.
Why Join?
The package on offer is a £six figure basic and bonus which is based on total client revenue (new and existing fees) as well as corporate benefits. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Planner to settle in and establish themselves in a company which puts both clients and their employees at the forefront of their strategic planning whilst also providing great earnings and career potential.
