Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location: Central London

Remuneration: £45,000 Per Annum

We are searching on behalf of our client, an International Tier 1 contractor for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join as soon as possible. You will be working on a Major Rail Project in Central London, with the focus in this case being on the infrastructure side of the framework. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a Tier 1 contractor on one of the most important infrastructure projects currently ongoing in the UK.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and agree variation accounts, monitor costs, and track progress against plans.
• Contribute to change control procedures and manage contractual issues.
• Updating forecasts.
• Prepare valuations, final accounts, and handle subcontractor payments.
• Supporting Quantity Surveyors in identifying and managing commercial risks.

To be successful, you will have:

• A Quantity Surveying degree or similar qualification.
• A passion for Quantity Surveying and a real willingness to learn and upskill.
• Work well under pressure
• Ability to manage and prioritize day to day activities within a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication.
• A methodical and detail-oriented approach.
