The Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the product team responsible for managing a schedule of physical new releases and catalogue titles across Demon Records and Edsel.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth product development, meeting production deadlines and targets while maintaining high design integrity and competitiveness.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with artists and management.
- Manage vinyl retail exclusives and initiatives.
- Manage product consultants.
- Originate new product ideas and ranges in collaboration with sales.
- Report on chart performance and analyze sales data.
- Plan and organize a busy workload of releases.
- Manage external vendors and suppliers.
- Oversee Demon\βs physical inception budget.
- Maintain internal stakeholder relationships with various teams.
What Does It Take?
Essential Criteria
- Extensive experience in physical or digital product management within catalogue music marketing, understanding price points, fan bases, repertoire ownership, new formats, and packaging ideas.
- Passion for vinyl and knowledge of product management processes.
- Ability to demonstrate catalogue marketing experience, working effectively under pressure and with a large workload.
- Experience in creating CDs, vinyl, and box sets.
- Strong understanding of licensing processes.
- Experience working with design and mastering companies.
- Ability to use OCC (Official Charts Company) for chart reports.
Desirable Criteria
- Solid knowledge of music from the 60s to 90s across genres.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
