This Client Event Specialist is a newly created position in a leading US law firm. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of external firm and client events.
Based in London and reporting to the Senior Events Manager in the states, you will play a key role in developing, negotiating, executing, and following up on events, while also providing event guidance to our Paris and Germany marketing teams. Collaborating closely with marketing and business development colleagues, you will own the tactical event details and execution of substantive and relationship-focused client events.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with marketing and business development to create unique client entertainment opportunities (dinners, outings, gifts, etc.) aimed at relationship building.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of substantive client-facing events showcasing the firm’s legal and industry capabilities.
- Manage the London office’s sports and event ticket purchases (Wimbledon, Lords, Chelsea Flower Show, etc.).
- Source, negotiate with, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, restaurants, and venues.
- Manage event-related quick reference guides.
- Liaise with Client Development and CRM teams on list management using InterAction.
- Contribute to improving systems, processes, and efficiencies for the events function and Marketing & Business Development Department.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
The successful candidate for the role will have proven client event management experience within the legal sector.
