Senior Technical Coordinator – What’s the role?
Working in the technical team to assist, and with experience, lead on the management of the planning and technical functions on housebuilding sites from pre-planning to project completion.
Senior Technical Coordinator – About you:
- Have or be working towards a relevant professional qualification e.g., BTEC HNC/ HND or Degree
- Have experience of working in a technical team for a house builder or within an architectural or engineering consultancy
- Demonstrate I can successfully deliver customer focused services in a complex and challenging environment
- Have an understanding of value engineering principles
- Have excellent project management skills and able to work in an organised methodical manner whilst multi-tasking
- Be proactive and driven and able to work to tight deadlines
- Have a keen eye for detail to check drawings and design information
- Strive for continuous improvement in your own personal development, your team’s performance and the business as a whole
- Be pleasant and personable and able to work in a collaborative team environment
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills able to convey complex technical matters to a non-technical audience
- Bring knowledge and experience in housing construction methods and processes
- Have a good understanding of Health & Safety and particularly the CDM Regulations
