Cover Supervisor/ Permanent Teacher Opportunity

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading lessons in the absence of the class teacher. While you’ll cover a variety of subjects, you’re not expected to be an expert in each one-your main focus will be to maintain order and ensure students engage with their work.

This role is ideal for anyone considering a future in teaching. It’s a great opportunity to gain experience in a secondary school before applying for teacher training programs. Previous experience working in schools is desirable but not essential, as we provide free training for those new to this environment.

Our partner secondary schools in and around the E6 area are looking for Cover Supervisors for both day-to-day supply and longer-term roles. These schools offer welcoming and supportive environments, making them ideal places to build your experience.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A degree or equivalent level of education

• A willingness to learn and adapt

• Confidence and natural leadership skills to manage a classroom in the absence of the teacher

• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people

Salary will vary between £80 – £120 per/day, but will be dependent on your experience, training, and the individual school’s budget for cover. We are committed to offering competitive rates based on your qualifications and experience.
