A friendly Primary School with a strong community feel in the South Gloucestershire area is looking for a full-time or part-time teacher to work in their Early Years class from September. The school really encourages their children to build curiosity in their learning, through a supportive team around them. This is a 1 form entry school, where you will be working alongside a teaching assistant who will provide additional support for children with special educational needs.

This role is a long-term position to start from September covering Maternity leave. The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate with experience in KS1 or EYFS who has great phonics knowledge and has high expectations of learning outcomes. You’ll be working with a motivated, fun staff team who are passionate about developing their practice and the provision for our children and families.

You will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver fun and exciting activities and lessons.
  • Provide learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom.
  • Work alongside your partner teacher and communicate clearly about children’s development.
