What you’ll be doing
If you’re interested in a digital or IT-based career, our one-year programme gives you the opportunity to discover the digital, data and technology services that support our everyday operations and shape the roads of the future.
Digital Services is also home to our Digital Lab, where we develop and roll out our new data and digital solutions that innovate and improve our roads network.
Depending on your placement, you’ll work alongside Digital Services specialists on exciting projects and key services, which could be related to:

Cybersecurity and managing risks to our systems

Enterprise technology and systems managing around £5 billion in payments every year and supporting key business functions such as HR

Business Partnering

Our network of traffic technology, helping millions of road users get to where they need to be safely and reliably

You’ll also need to meet these essential entry requirements:
- Currently studying in your second year of an undergraduate degree in a digital, IT, business, maths, engineering or sciences subject area
