Your new company: You will be joining a privately owned practice, with offices operating in Newark, Manchester and London that employs around 90 staff. Across their 13-year history, this practice has managed to be placed in the top 10 Architects (Barbour index). This is due to their huge long-term prospects, their tremendous landbank affiliation and their ability to retain repeat clients.

Your new role: In your new role, you will be working as an Architectural Technician within the Industrial sector, where you will be:

  • Drafting and Designing: Create detailed drawings and plans for buildings using CAD software.
  • Technical Support: Assist architects with technical details and specifications.
  • Building Regulations: Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals.
  • Site Visits: Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans.
  • Material Selection: Recommend appropriate materials and construction techniques.
  • Problem Solving: Address technical issues that arise during the design and construction phases.

What you’ll need to succeed: Preferred experience within the industrial sector, client facing experience, strong technical knowledge, all/most RIBA stages experience, AutoCAD and/or Revit expertise.
