Research Assistant

We are currently seeking a Research Integrity Assistant to join our client\’s team and work across a variety of STM journals. Experience Required: Biomedical sciences experience. 5-10 years of research experience. Preferably a Ph.D. or significant working experience. Animal/Human studies are preferred but not essential. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the team to drive research integrity investigations. Check articles for integrity of authorship, content, data, and key ethics statements. Assist the ethics team with contacting authors and assessing files requested from authors. Identify experts to provide advice on specific articles when required. Work with the ethics and editorial teams on organizing post-publication notices. Handle confidential information confidently and sensitively, considering legal and ethical issues. What We Are Looking For: Research background in a relevant discipline. Editorial experience in assessing scientific manuscripts for quality and integrity of content. Familiarity with image detection tools. Strong understanding of various research methods and practices. Awareness of global research and publishing ethics issues. Awareness of required journal editorial standards. Experience in project management. Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills.
