A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GROUP AND CUSTOMER SALES COORDINATOR AT THE WESTIN LONDON CITY
What you'll be doing…
Reporting to the Customer Sales Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following:
- Inputting and managing group blocks by making sure that systems are interfacing correctly and maintaining all necessary details.
- Updating systems to ensure that group pickup is accurately communicated to the Revenue and Sales team so attrition and slippage can be tracked.
- Processing all group rooming lists in a timely and efficient manner.
- Making, confirming, cancelling, and changing group and individual reservations as per departmental standards.
- Ensuring group invoice is accurate and commission is set up and paid correctly.
- Ensuring group block is created correctly and communicate with the Sales team if errors occur.
- Arranging services required for guests with special needs; ensuring that clients needs are met to the highest standard.
- Communicating with the other departments to ensure key information is understood for all group bookings and always have excellent attention to detail as this is critical for ensuring that all information is captured and communicated correctly.
- Preparing and attending weekly operational meetings.
- Responding to individual Reservation enquiries via call or emails as per agreed departmental and brand standards.
- Supporting the department in achieving revenue goals and hotel commercial KPIs.
- Supporting other departments with Individual and Group reservations related questions.

To succeed in the role of Group and Customer Sales Coordinator, you will need the following qualities and skills:
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Must speak fluent English. Other languages represent an advantage.
