Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, an established engineering company in their search for a Machinist to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Machinist, our client is offering:

  • Competitive salary of £14.00 per hour
  • Working Days with early finish on Fridays - 7:30am-4:30pm with a 1:30pm finish on Fridays
  • Temporary to Permanent position
  • Free parking

The Role - Machinist:

  • Operating a number of machines within the Machine Shop to bend Aluminium materials
  • Grinding
  • Use of a Saw to cut materials
  • Use of a Manual Lathe to machine parts
  • This role does involve lots of Manual Handling
  • Working from drawings
  • Producing parts to required standards

What our client is looking for in a Machinist:

  • Demonstrate stability in the work history
  • Worked on a variety of machinery in a Machine Shop
  • Possess an Engineering / Mechanical aptitude
  • Welding skills would be advantageous
