For the successful Machinist, our client is offering:
- Competitive salary of £14.00 per hour
- Working Days with early finish on Fridays - 7:30am-4:30pm with a 1:30pm finish on Fridays
- Temporary to Permanent position
- Free parking
The Role - Machinist:
- Operating a number of machines within the Machine Shop to bend Aluminium materials
- Grinding
- Use of a Saw to cut materials
- Use of a Manual Lathe to machine parts
- This role does involve lots of Manual Handling
- Working from drawings
- Producing parts to required standards
What our client is looking for in a Machinist:
- Demonstrate stability in the work history
- Worked on a variety of machinery in a Machine Shop
- Possess an Engineering / Mechanical aptitude
- Welding skills would be advantageous
