Axon Moore are supporting a large manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire in the appointment of an Interim Financial Accountant. This is a hands-on and varied Financial Accounting role where you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller across a range of responsibilities.
The key responsibilities for this person will include:
- Production of accounts for one of the manufacturing divisions
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Month end accounts
- Journals
- Prepare and post prepayments and accruals
- Supporting with statutory accounts
The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience)
- Previous experience of working for a manufacturing organisation
- Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
