Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing UK group in Manchester City Centre who are looking to appoint 2 x Interim Management Accountants on an initial 6-month contract. These are broad, hands-on roles that would suit qualified or QBE accountants with solid management accounts experience, particularly around fixed asset accounting, cost controls, and overheads analysis.
Salary/benefits
- £250 - £400 per day (Inside IR35)
- 6-month contract
- Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the Manchester office
Job Duties
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts
- Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register across multiple entities
- Analyse and report on overheads, fixed and controllable costs, highlighting key variances
- Assist with forecasting and budgeting activities across cost centres
- Support month-end close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior stakeholders
- Work with non-finance budget holders to improve cost visibility and control
- Assist with internal controls improvements and audit support as needed
