FF&E Specialist

We are seeking an FF&E Senior Specialist with exceptional knowledge of furniture, finishes, and materials. You will play a key role in curating and specifying high-end FF&E selections that align with LDS’s design vision, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of aesthetics, functionality, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead FF&E concept development, sourcing, and specification for high-end hospitality projects.
• Research and curate innovative materials, finishes, and custom furniture solutions.
• Develop and present FF&E mood boards, material palettes, and detailed specifications.
• Oversee procurement, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of FF&E elements.
• Manage and review shop drawings, prototypes, and sample approvals.
• Ensure FF&E selections meet project budgets, timelines, and design intent.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainability practices, and emerging materials.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on FF&E best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in high-end hospitality or luxury residential FF&E design.
• Strong knowledge of international suppliers, materials, and custom fabrication processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing procurement, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Italian language skills are an advantage.
