Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced customer-focused and enthusiastic Hardware Break-Fix engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our Client at their London office location.

You will also be part of a wider IT support team with your day-to-day activity involve troubleshooting predominantly HP End User Workplace equipment (laptops) while offering exceptional customer service.

You will have good written and spoken communication, hold a genuine interest in Hardware resolution, be a diligent administrator and organised.

This is a full-time on-site permanent position working 37.5-hours per week, Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and perform hardware repairs of \’In Warranty and Out of Warranty kit\’.
  • ServiceNow queue ticket management of assigned tickets ensuring appropriate updates and call management to maintain Service levels as per contract
  • Parts, cost management and asset management of kit in/out
  • Liaise with vendors for parts and returns as per contract
  • Highlight potential issues with service/potential service improvements to their Team Leader
  • Follow any agreed processes and procedures either from the Authority or DXC

Requirements:

  • HP Warranty Accredited / Certified
  • Familiar with HP Warranty Portal process.
  • Hardware – Diagnose, troubleshoot, support & repair (including complex laptop break/fix repairs)
  • Experience in a corporate environment.
  • Due to the customer requirements successful applicants must be eligible for high level UK Security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HP Warranty Certification
