This position is being advertised by Swift Temps ltd acting as an employment agency. Our client based in Church Stretton, Shropshire are looking for an experienced and licenced FLT driver to join their team on permanent night shift, working 4 nights a week from 18:00pm to 06:00 am.
There is a 2 week rota for the night shift which is as follows:
- Week 1: Working 18:00pm - 06:00am Monday to Thursday
- Week 2: Working 18:00pm - 06:00am Tuesday to Friday
The rate of pay for this role is £12.36 per hour with a £2.75 per hour shift allowance. Overtime is paid after 40 hours at 1.5% plus the shift allowance.
The role of the FLT driver will be:
- Moving stock safely around the shop floor
- Ensuring all stock is in correct locations
- Assisting with stock takes
- Loading and unloading of lorries and trailers
- Preparing loads in dispatch ready for the next day
- Assisting with other departments where necessary
- General Housekeeping
