School Caretaker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caretaker to join our team. The Caretaker will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents. This position involves providing support in daily living activities, maintaining cleanliness, and fostering a positive atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a genuine passion for helping others., * Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility support.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility, including common areas and individual rooms.

• Perform commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.

• Ensure all equipment and supplies are stocked and in good working order.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

• Foster positive relationships with residents, encouraging social interaction and engagement.

• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or a similar role is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents and team members.

• Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals requiring assistance.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
