Closing date: 13-08-2025 Customer Team Member Location: Main Road, Wylam, NE41 8DN Pay: £12.60 per hour Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, part time, permanent. Working pattern: Varied shifts including early mornings, late evenings and weekends, to be discussed at interview. The role will involve working in our in-store bakery. As a Customer Team Member, you’ll be part of a friendly team that’s dedicated to helping our customers. We’ll look to you to provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages. What you\’ll do – Friendly and thoughtful service – you’ll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, working in our in-store bakery and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience – Work together to make everyone\’s day better – supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members – Make sure the store safe and legal – keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be – Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together – Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events!
