Based in modern offices on the north of Manchester City Centre I am looking for a Technical Administrator to join an established team – the role is Hybrid operating on a 2 days in and 3 days WFH policy. The job role is to provide support to the Deal Registration Manager and provide administration support to the team. This will involve; understanding all hardware and software deal registration and special pricing processes, forming working business relationships with the applicable vendors, Sales and Technical Services divisions within the business. This role is responsible for administering all of the possible deal registration and special pricing opportunities, identifying all qualifying quotations/leads and registering them with the applicable vendor to secure the special pricing advantage ahead of competition. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring KPI`s, providing analytic support to the deal through the monthly team meetings. High interaction is required with the Sales and Technical Services divisions. Interaction is also required with the applicable hardware and software vendors. Offers advice and guidance to others outside of the team with respect to deal registration, special pricing and special bid process. Knowledge or interest of IT hardware and software would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will be a well organised self-starter with excellent attention to detail, numeracy skills and basic Excel practical knowledge. Also it is required that you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to work through ambiguity and deal with unexpected challenges. You will work without supervision, pick things up easy with a passion to learn.
