We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join a high-performing mental health service supporting individuals with complex needs, learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern. This role will be central to reducing restrictive practices and enhancing patient outcomes across a specialist inpatient setting.
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will:
- Lead the delivery and implementation of person-centred PBS strategies
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments and create evidence-based support plans
- Deliver PBS training to staff and promote a culture of positive, proactive care
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient wellbeing
- Monitor the impact of interventions and contribute to continuous service development
What Weβre Looking For:
- Qualified Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with a relevant degree (e.g. Psychology, ABA, Autism Studies)
- Practical experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism
- Skilled in developing PBS plans, risk management, and incident debriefing
