Basildon Salary - Competitive DOE Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week.

The company: Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known automotive manufacturing company. Due to large expansion, the company is now looking for an experienced CNC Miller with ideally Programming, Setting & Operating experience to join and be part of their manufacturing workshop team. Offering a range of benefits including flexi-start time, private healthcare, generous holiday allowance and more, this is an excellent time to join this fast-expanding company.

The successful candidate will be able to programme, set & operate with some programming experience using CNC Mills, setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain control system.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Setting & Operating from using Heidenhain control system
  • Tooling selection, setter and operation of machinery
  • Working to precise engineering drawings
  • Involved in producing small batch work and one-offs
  • Working to health and safety procedures

Skills and Experience required:
  • Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/engineering environment - Automotive
