For Companies We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established distribution hub in Doncaster (DN6), looking for reliable and experienced Night Shunter Driver. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, stable work with the potential to lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Shift Details:
- Monday to Friday
- Start time: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely position trailers to and from bays as instructed.
- Carry out timely trailer movements on-site and between nearby locations if required.
- Maintain clear communication with operational teams via two-way radios.
- Complete and document all necessary safety checks.
- Monitor and maintain fridge units (temperature settings and diesel levels).
- Report any defects, incidents, or accidents promptly.
- Maintain vehicle parking areas and report any obstructions or hazards.
What You Need:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Minimum 12 months of Class 1 experience (fridge experience is a bonus)
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (No IN10, DR10, MS10, TS10, TT99 offences)
- Previous shunting experience preferred
