Full-time and part-time options, shifts are 12.5 hours and there is a requirement to support with days, nights, and alternate weekends as well as Bank Holidays. Times are 6.45 am - 7.15 pm and 6.45 pm - 7.15 am.

Information about the person you will be supporting:

I am a fun-loving, happy and vibrant young man who is intelligent and sociable. I have complex health needs, which means I need support 24 hours per day with 2 Healthcare assistants. My health needs include Epilepsy, PEG feed, tracheostomy, regular suctioning and physiotherapy. I am reliant on my team for all transfers using the equipment provided. In addition, I require support with all aspects of personal care and tasks of daily living. I enjoy going to school and socialising with family and friends.

You need to be able to establish a good relationship with my mum, who I live with.

The ideal candidate will be fun-loving, confident, assertive and a team player. Previous care/health experience is essential as is the ability to follow instructions from a clinical lead. Driving licence and use of own car are essential for this role.

The role is subject to a 6 month probation/training period and full training is provided. There is also a requirement to support in hospital settings and on holidays. Full time opportunities are also available as well as part time.
