Electrical Assembler

Overview
We are recruiting for an Electrical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical assembly and demonstrate proficiency in using hand and power tools. This role involves assembling various electrical components, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our production process. The role is a brand-new division within the business and will lead to eventually building your own team.

Responsibilities

1. Assemble electrical components and systems according to specifications and diagrams.
2. Utilise hand and power tools as well as machinery to effectively complete assembly tasks.
3. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues that may arise.
4. Manage inventory and place orders for goods to ensure no delays with production.
5. Conduct quality checks and testing on assembled products to ensure compliance.
6. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
7. Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or defects in materials or components.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 of electrical installations or an equivalent preferred.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations preferred.
• A CSCS Card would be desirable, but not essential.
• Proven experience in electrical assembly or a related field is preferred.
• Strong electrical knowledge, with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics is preferred.
• Ability to build electrical din rail assemblies.
• Wiring and crimping with hand tools and machines.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output in all tasks performed.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
