We are looking for a Head Chef for a new premium quick service restaurant in Bath serving a vibrant menu using all fresh ingredients. It is a high volume fast paced restaurant with an amazing state of the art kitchen.

It will suit a current Head Chef/Kitchen Manager with a high volume quality food led background, ideally in QSR, with strong people management, leadership, IT and control measures skills. Also, if you are ambitious, the company has plans to open further sites so future career progression is very realistic.

Role - Head Chef

As the Head Chef you will:

  • Manage all aspects of the kitchen in a hands-on capacity - leading the team
  • Control labour, the GP, and all costs & budgets
  • Recruit, train and develop your team
  • Order and control stock and liaise with suppliers
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, compliance and company systems & procedures
  • Work closely with the front of house team
  • Ensure quality and consistency of dishes
  • Work to company targets and KPIs

Attributes - Head Chef

  • Experience as a Head Chef/Kitchen Manager in high volume fast paced restaurants, probably branded and quick service
  • Strong financial & commercial acumen - controlling GP's, labour, costs & budgets
  • Excellent people, leadership, organisation, administration, communication and people management skills
  • A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail
  • An intrinsic understanding of legislation & compliance
  • Strong coaching, performance management and people development skills
  • A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
  • IT literate - working with systems & process
