A corporate communications agency seeks to employ an experienced account manager. The agency has a long history of financial reporting and corporate literature; more recently, they have expanded into employee communications and corporate responsibility and sustainability reporting. The agency produces industry-leading research documents into investor information needs and current investor relations trends.

All applicants will be well versed in at least one of the above sectors and have excellent client-facing skills.

The role will include:

  • Being the lead account/project manager on several key FTSE 100 accounts together with a number of FTSE Mid-250’s.
  • Form part of the pitch team for new business, from an account/project management perspective.
  • Develop a full understanding of the client, what they do, strategies, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Develop client accounts, including development of existing offers and introduction of new disciplines.
  • Plan and schedule projects both internally and externally.
  • Provide costing, updates, and apply budget control, both internally and externally.
  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of projects internally and externally.
  • Run specific projects day-to-day, working with the team as required.

Candidates need to be:

  • Self-motivated.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • On-line reporting experience would be beneficial.
  • A proven understanding of stakeholder and B2B communications.
  • Absolutely committed to the delivery of projects.
  • Have a good understanding of the production processes involved both internally and externally.
  • Experience managing a team and influencing its growth and development.
  • Good knowledge of corporate reporting legislation and upcoming changes.
