With a strong focus on safety, innovation, and collaboration, they deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions that enhance communities and support a greener future.\\n\\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Bridge Engineer to join the Consulting Structures Team. This role offers the chance to work on major infrastructure projects, including a £3.6 billion Scheme Delivery Framework and the Severn Bridges Infrastructure Maintenance Contract, as part of a significant renewals programme launched by National Highways.\\n \\nKey Responsibilities: \\nLead a team to develop and implement effective engineering solutions.

\\nManage projects from inception to completion, including preparing proposals and overseeing handovers. \\nPrepare and review designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and schedule targets. \\nMentor and develop junior engineers, providing guidance and professional support.

\\nLiaise with clients and suppliers, attending meetings and resolving technical queries. \\nOversee a local technical team, ensuring successful project delivery. \\nSupport bid preparation and contribute to business development initiatives.

\\nChampion Health and Safety best practices across all projects. Skills & Experience Required: \\nProven experience in Bridges/Highways Structures engineering. \\nStrong ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet technical standards and client expectations.

\\nExcellent project management skills with ownership of deliverables and quality assurance. \\nGood understanding of commercial aspects, CDM regulations, and risk assessment methodologies. \\nExperience in identifying and mitigating project risks and hazards.

\\nKnowledge of interface management to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications & Technical Expertise: \\nIncorporated or Chartered Engineer status (or working towards). \\nA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent experience).

\\nProficiency in engineering software such as LUSAS and Autodesk Structural Bridge Design.
