Due to project wins and expected future orderbook, my client is looking to appoint an Assistant Design Manager to work as part of one of their design teams to play a key role on high profile builds across the North.
The ideal candidate will have experience with building contractors or come from an architectural technician background working on multi storey RC/Steel framed builds.
The Client: A well respected and established Main Contractor that operates throughout the UK on a range of major projects across varied sectors: High-Rise Living, Commercial, Healthcare, Student Accommodation etc. who work on projects from £20m - £100m.
This position for an Assistant Design Manager will be to assist the Design Manager with all design aspects on one of their new projects in the region.
The ideal candidate who could come from an architectural background will be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge particularly within the PRS / High-Rise Residential / Hotel sector as well as the ability to communicate with all parties in the pre-construction phase through to project delivery.
Ensuring designs are being scrutinised to identify issues before they impact build programmes, chairing meetings and liaison with consultants & subcontractors will necessarily be integral to the success of this role.
