Mechanical Technician

Job Title: Mechanical Technician Location: London Remuneration: £19.23 per hour Contract Details: Temporary, 3 months Responsibilities: Our client, a leading tech company, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting facilities management activities across various client sites in London. Responsibilities: Read blueprints and instructions to determine the scope of work required. Collaborate with the Facilities Lead Technician to ensure compliance with local legislation. Adhere to the Maintenance Management system to achieve GMP standards and service level agreements. Undertake installation works, repairs, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment. Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety protocols. Accountable for planned maintenance activities in compliance with site SOPs and procedures. Maintain plant and utilities to ensure proper operation and record-keeping. Provide technical support for projects and assist with commissioning and handover activities. Ensure completion of work orders and adhere to the Equipment Maintenance System. Initiate and receive Permits to Work and follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
