Smart4Chemicals are currently recruiting for a Lab R&D Chemist in the West Yorkshire area.
To be considered for the Lab R&D Chemist position you must be degree educated in chemistry or a closely related subject.
As a Lab R&D Chemist you will be working within the product development team where you will evaluate raw materials, generate test data for development products and effectively communicate with technical and operational staff.
Role requirements
- Bachelors educated in Chemistry or a closely related subject. Candidates with HND/HNC qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
- Any understanding of REACH or GHS will be highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of how to design and analyse experiments that are undertaken within the lab.
Role responsibilities
- Generate test data for development products.
- Liaise with cross functional teams to meet customer requirements.
- Produce technical reports and present them to the R&D Director within the business.
No experience is required for this role and training will be provided on formulation, understanding of performance requirements within European technical approvals and also some of the regulatory requirements that are essential for the business.
