Job Description

Role: Marketing Communications Assistant\\nSalary: £25,000 – £28,000 p.a. + benefits\\nHours: Full time Monday to Friday 9am to 5.15pm or Part time 3 days\\nLocation: Commutable from Stockport, Greater Manchester, Altrincham, Pendlebury and surrounding areas\\n\\nCompany\\n\\nOur client is one of the UK’s leading building products manufacturers committed to building healthy solutions across the built environment.\\n\\nThe Marketing Communications Assistant is to work closely and support the niche Marketing Team.\\n\\nIf you are looking for a position where you can get involved in all aspects of marketing communications, including supporting marketing colleagues with new product launches and campaigns, be challenged as well as supported with opportunities to grow and progress, this job is for you.\\n\\nThis role could be a full time 5 days a week or part time 3 days a week and could suit someone returning to work e.g. after a period of maternity / paternity leave, or someone with 1 to 2 years’ experience working in marketing and is ready for their next step\\n\\nResponsibilities\\n\\n * Liaise with the company’s external designer to update product literature to reflect the new branding and that product information is up to date.

Ensure the necessary approvals are sought and that the process for updating literature is followed.\\n\\n * Update fixing instructions, product labelling and packaging to reflect the latest branding. Ensure process is followed.\\n\\n * Support colleagues in writing LinkedIn posts and help generate new ideas for posts based on company activity and the wider calendar.\\n\\n * Help to distribute advertising artwork and press releases to trade press, according to agreed media plans.\\n\\n * Draft, edit and proofread copy across a range of different communication types.\\n\\n * Help to organise the company’s presence at trade show events and conferences including collating literature, stand materials, promotional items etc.\\n\\n * Support with email marketing activities.\\n\\n * Assist with the production of internal communications materials e.g. company newsletters.\\n\\n * Help to organise still photography, drone and video footage.\\n\\n * Raising purchase orders, logging orders to budget sheets and booking in work upon completion of projects.
