Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Architect to support a project with an Insurance client. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Azure Data Platforms, working on Databricks, and setting up Microsoft Purview with Unity Catalog. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure data consistency, quality, and security across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Implementation:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Azure Data Platform architecture.
- Integrate Databricks for advanced analytics and data processing.
- Set up Microsoft Purview with Unity catalog to enhance data governance and cataloging.
Data Governance:
- Design and customize the metadata model for Purview, including asset types, relationships, and attributes.
- Implement data cataloging solutions, focusing on business KPIs and dashboards.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across all data domains.
Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Provide training and support to key users on Purview and Unity Catalog functionalities.
- Collaborate with the Data Governance team to define roles, responsibilities, and processes.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in STEM field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure Data Platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks and its integration with Azure.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and practices.
Skills:
- Excellent understanding of data architecture and data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
