Ashton Recruitment require a Warehouse Administrator for a client based in Belfast.
Location: Belfast
Duration: Temporary - Permanent
Salary: £26,500 per annum
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00
Duties will include (But not limited to):
- Monitoring and updating stock levels in warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP, WMS).
- Ensuring accurate records of goods received, stored, and dispatched.
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
- Preparing delivery notes, shipping documents, and stock movement reports.
- Filing and archiving documentation in line with company and compliance requirements.
- Assisting with monthly or quarterly stock takes.
- Inputting data into internal systems (such as WMS or ERP platforms).
- Ensuring all data is up to date and accurate, especially relating to goods in/out.
- Communicating with warehouse operatives, transport teams, and supervisors to coordinate the movement of goods.
- Occasionally dealing with external customers, hauliers, or suppliers to provide updates or resolve issues.
- Supporting compliance with H&S procedures by ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
- Assisting in audits or process reviews.
- Answering emails and phone calls related to warehouse operations.
- Ordering supplies or raising purchase orders when required.
Essential Criteria:
- GCSE grade C and above in English and Maths.
- Administration experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience of working closely with Operational and Transport Teams for service delivery.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office products, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Experience in communicating at different levels across an organisation and the ability to adapt tone and style to suit audience.
- A demonstrable track record of excellent organisational, analytical, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to deal with and manage competing priorities with precision and accuracy.
- Professional written communication style.
- Experience in problem solving and working proactively towards solutions.
