Position Title: Graduate Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are currently looking for a Graduate Project Engineer to join our engineering team.
  • Primarily the role will be working on variety of programmes/supplier work (1st tier supplier work).
  • It will be based onsite at a major OEM
  • The Graduate Engineer will be working within a small team
  • The Graduate Engineer will start off shadowing one of the Engineers and support them by preparing presentations and attending meetings etc.
  • Fairly quickly the Graduate Engineer will be given responsibility for several components eventually leading to responsibility for complete systems.

Typical everyday tasks will include:

  • Developing concepts and designing components.
  • Completing design studies and presenting these.
  • Liaising with other Engineers and CAD group.
  • Attending design reviews and taking away actions.
  • Completing assigned tasks as directed.
  • Analysing metrics and data.
  • Understanding and analysing CAE reports.
  • Liaising with manufacturing.
  • Meeting suppliers
  • Attending design reviews and taking away actions.
