Job Description
Security Control Room Manager
Location: Stoke / Cheshire East area
Salary: £45,000
Hours: Monday to Friday
A top 20 national security provider is looking to appoint a talented people manager to oversee their regional hub control room. This is a key role in the effective management of several security contracts across the region. You will be integral to the success of this business as you ensure a smooth delivery of security services to clients.
The role will focus on leading a team responsible for scheduling a large number of security staff, ensuring officers are rostered correctly, staff cancellations are covered appropriately, and mobile teams are working at optimum levels.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Prior experience scheduling security staff, ideally using a rostering system such as Logosoft, Timegate, TrackTick etc.
- Strong IT skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Adept at building relationships with front-line staff
- Confident administering a large team of Security staff
- Prior supervisory or management experience
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of the control room team
- Implementation of processes and procedures
- Strive to improve service delivery in line with client SLA’s / KPI’s
- Overseeing the effective Scheduling of security staff
- Forward planning of staff rota’s
- Budget management
- Ensure a robust process in covering blow outs and staff absences
- Assist with the recruitment and interviewing of staff
- Co-ordinate staff inductions and training
- Collate and administer annual leave requests
- Respond effectively to additional staffing requests
- Regularly updating the company scheduling system
- Respond to situations in a professional manner
- Attend client meetings
- Communicate effectively with site managers
- Generating scheduling reports
