Equifind has partnered with one of the fastest-growing fintech companies in the UK to assist in the recruitment of a Group Accountant. This newly established role will be based at their London office near Liverpool Street station and requires office-attendance three days pw.
The business is a financial technology company that leverages advanced AI and algorithms to streamline its product offerings. It has achieved an average revenue growth of 46% over the past five years and proudly maintains 40% female representation in senior management roles.
As they expand into North America, they are seeking a skilled and qualified accountant to oversee group reporting and consolidations.
Key duties include
- Own the month-end close and group consolidations, including cash flow and intercompany transactions
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports
- Support annual group budgeting
- Act as main contact for group audits
- Improve financial controls, processes, and reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate management information
- Assist with data migration to the new accounting system
Key requirements
- ACA/CA qualified accountant, preferably trained in audit
- A minimum of 5 years experience, ideally working within a group function
- Prior experience of working with FCA or SEC regulated businesses
- Advanced-level Excel skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid understanding of financial reporting requirements
- Proven stakeholder management experience and relationship building skills
