The ideal candidate for this role would be a school leaver or someone who is looking for a change of career. You will be rolled into a Trainee programme where various training is provided to progress you into a Rope Access Technician role.

As a Rope Access Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at height, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest safety standards while utilising your technical skills effectively.

Duties:

  • Comply, promote and positively contribute to MAS LTD HSEQ policies and procedures.

  • Safe management of their assigned tasks.

  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company safe operating procedures.

  • Actively participate and engage in the task risk assessment process.

  • Actively participate and engage in the Toolbox Talk, providing personal feedback when you are unclear on the information or process being discussed.

  • Actively participate in the Near Miss / Safety Observation programme.

  • Report all accidents/incidents, unsafe acts or conditions to your line supervisor.

  • Assist line management in the investigation of accidents / incidents or near miss reports.

  • Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that has been issued.

  • Attend HSE meetings, promote health, safety and environmental protocols.

-Assist in the transfer and setting up plant, equipment and tools as directed.

  • Assist with Scheme Cleaning / Critical Cleans for our clients which consists of 6 monthly / yearly gutter cleaning.

Assist with the below:

  • Job reports and submit them back to the office via tablet.

  • Clean out Sky-Vac system at the end of the day or as required.

  • Foot ladders and assist with moving ladders.

  • Order materials from client stores as and when required.

  • Provide support to other members of the team.

  • Maintain a clean and tidy work site/vehicles.

  • Manage the diary for the team ensuring it’s updated frequently and assist with planning of jobs for Technicians.

  • Work to the Company Values – Safety, Performance and Teamwork – and promote this within your day-to-day tasks.

  • Undertake and assist with manual handling tasks.

  • Provide general assistance to team members, this includes covering for holidays.

  • Ensure waste generation is kept to a minimum, and waste is disposed of in a safe and responsible manner
