D365 FinOps Functional Consultant

Overview:

An established organisation is seeking a D365 FinOps Functional Consultant to enhance its Finance workstream by delivering support and innovative solutions. This role involves working closely with business users to optimize financial processes and ensure effective use of Dynamics 365 Finance functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between business users and IT teams, providing functional support and technical solutions.
• Advise on best practices, maximizing out-of-the-box functionalities within D365 Finance.
• Translate complex business needs into functional specifications, document processes, and create training materials.
• Manage full project lifecycles, from development and testing to deployment.
• Stay updated on the D365 roadmap and drive continuous learning within the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2-3 years of consultancy experience with D365 Finance, including core and advanced Finance modules.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of leading workshops and engaging diverse groups.
• Background in change management and process improvement, with a strategic mindset for technology-driven solutions.
• Experience in training delivery, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems.
• A confident communicator who can challenge conventional processes and advocate for best practices.
