The Edinburgh Counselling Service is seeking a self-employed counsellor, psychotherapist or CBT therapist to join our team. The candidate would be required to work face to face from our city-centre office located at Citibase, 1 St Colme Street. Interviews will take place on a rolling basis and the anticipated start date would be either late December or early January.

The successful candidate would be provided with client referrals as well as a comfortable working environment including reception, administrative support, a lovely counselling room, therapeutic tools, tea and coffee.

This role would pay £40 per session for individual counselling, and £55 per session for couples/ family counselling.

We are looking for counsellors to work either two or three shifts from the following:

• Tuesday PM (3pm-8pm)

• Wednesday PM (3pm-8pm)

• Friday AM (9am-2:30pm)

There is a possibility that more shifts would become available in the future.
