SEN Teaching Assistant Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well established School based within a commutable distance of Colchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that SEN Students are receiving the appropriate quality education that they need. Qualifications: * Must have a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate. * Proven experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN). * Relevant qualification around education or SEN is desirable. * Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practices. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Day-to-day: * Working closely with students, teachers, and parents to ensure individual learning needs are met. * Adapting teaching materials and methods to suit the individual needs of students with SEN. * Providing regular progress reports and feedback to relevant stakeholders. * Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance SEN knowledge and skills.
