Arthur is partnering with an innovative Lloyds syndicate to hire an Underwriting Operations Team Leader.
This is a key role focused on driving efficiency, automation, and process improvements, while ensuring seamless collaboration between the operations team and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:Lead & develop a team of Underwriting Assistants, setting clear objectives and performance metrics.Oversee recruitment, training, and professional growth of team members.Establish and standardise operational processes across underwriting operations.Manage and resolve escalations related to underwriting systems and workflows.Ensure efficient, accurate workflow management between underwriting operations and partners.Build and maintain strong external relationships, leading partner meetings and workshops.Investigate and resolve data quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.Drive process automation and efficiency improvements across underwriting operations.
