Mechanical Project Manager This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading specialist Mechanical Engineering contractor in Slough. This role will be primarily office-based with occasional travel to sites in locations such as Germany, France and Sweden. The company work across various sectors, predominantly Data Centres and Energy Centres.The key role will be to manage the interface between the business and the main contractors they supply to. You will have dedicated, full-time site teams managing the installation of the packages, but they will need remote advice on contractual and technical issues as they arise. Packages will include PrefabricatedPlantrooms, Mechanical Service Modules andPrefabricatedPipework. General Duties: Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring alignment with overall project goals. Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering teams, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring all work is completed on time and within scope. Oversee the project budget, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting any deviations or risks to stakeholders. Ensure all mechanical installations meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety codes, providing technical guidance when necessary. Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks related to mechanical systems, addressing any issues that arise. Prepare regular progress reports on works, budget updates, and project timelines for stakeholders. Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding the project, addressing concerns and providing updates. Remuneration Package: £80,000 to £90,000 according to experience, plus excellent benefits package.
