Business Development Manager\\n\\nBurton-Upon-Trent (can be based anywhere)\\n\\nFull time, Permanent (Field based)\\n\\nSalary: £40,000 + 8% comms\\n\\nCompany Car\\n\\nLaptop & Phone\\n\\n20 days hol + BH (1 extra day per year of service)\\n\\nOur highly successful European Transport & Logistics client is seeking a talented and industry savvy Business Development Manager to join them on a full time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be reporting to the UK Director, with the aim of developing and managing commercial turnover on European and UK Lanes\\n\\nInitially the role will be purely acquisition in the first year and then, there will be an existing portfolio in the second year and thereafter.\\n\\nRole Specific Tasks\\n\\nCommercial Activity Acquisition\\n\\n * To develop new business (acquisition) for Transalliance within the agreed pricing parameters set by the UK Director in conjunction with the Branch and the Operational Manager to ensure that the agreed number of monthly visits for prospects is respected\\n\\nCommercial activity existing\\n\\n * To manage and develop the existing Customer portfolio ensuring that regular business reviews are held to discuss any relevant topics. financial or administration.\\n\\n * To ensure that the agreed number of monthly visits for clients is respected\\n\\n * To provide rating updates, where appropriate.\\n\\nCommercial Reporting\\n\\n * To provide Commercial pipeline on a monthly basis\\n\\n * To ensure that all leads, opportunities , offers and appointments are logged into Salesforce\\n\\nCommercial Review\\n\\n * To ensure that all relevant information is available for the Commercial Review including, but not limited to, Acquisition reporting, Existing client reporting (reachat), number of visits, any discrepancies in pricing, fuel or currency and all offers made
