AI/Automation Developer – New Role, Creative Freedom, Major Impact
Manchester (2 days a week in the office)
£55,000 – £75,000
I’m hiring for a brand-new role within a larger, well-established dev team at a global business that’s ramping up its AI strategy. They’re on the lookout for a developer who lives and breathes automation, someone who can spot inefficiencies in processes and build elegant, AI-driven solutions that improve service delivery, reduce manual effort, and create genuinely innovative systems.
You’ll sit at the intersection of support, infrastructure, and development, crafting automation workflows that seamlessly tie platforms together, with ServiceNow as a key (but not the only) component of the puzzle. Direct experience with ServiceNow isn’t essential, there’s solid documentation and internal support but an understanding of the ITSM landscape is.
What you’ll need:
- Experience creating AI-driven workflows or automation tools
- An understanding of ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice etc.)
- Exposure to LLMs or building/testing AI agents
- Programming/scripting in Python or similar (JavaScript, C++, Java, R etc.)
- A background in infrastructure, support, or service delivery would be ideal
- Ability to document and communicate technical workflows clearly
- Bonus: RPA experience (e.g. UiPath, Power Automate)
This isn’t just a build-and-maintain role. You’ll be encouraged to experiment with LLMs, test AI agents, and explore the edges of what’s possible, shaping solutions that work in the real world, not just in theory.
Hit apply if this aligns with your next move, but please note that unfortunately, this company can’t offer visa sponsorship for this role.
