Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Shop Floor Application Support Specialist to join our team in supporting mission-critical manufacturing systems. You will provide L1.5/L2/L3 support for a range of Shop Floor IT tools, play a key role in testing and deploying new functionalities, and ensure end-user readiness through training and documentation. Key Responsibilities: – Provide L1.5 / L2/L3 support for MES and shop floor applications such as: – SIMATIC IT – MES AOS – ANDON systems – SGM Portal – Others as required – Troubleshoot incidents, escalate complex issues to relevant teams, and follow through to resolution. – Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including: – Knowledge base articles – Incident reports/Incident Management – Knowledge transfer materials – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement new solutions or features for shop floor IT systems. – Conduct training sessions for end-users on new releases and system updates. – Support pre-MIP feature testing and validation in test environments. – Ensure adherence to ITIL standards and best practices in incident and change management. Qualifications: – Proven experience in manufacturing IT support roles, preferably in an aerospace or industrial environment. – Solid hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) like SIMATIC IT. – Proficient in documenting technical processes and training end-users. – Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. – Excellent communication skills; ability to work closely with shop floor staff and IT teams. – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
