Qualified Assessor in Health and Social Care Salary banding: £24,500 – £28,000 Location: Remote in North Wales (You will be required to visit learners in this area). About the role Our Assessors provide end to end structured support to our apprenticeship learners on programme. They ensure the most effective and up-to-date approaches are implemented to prepare learners to successfully progress in their Health and Social Care qualification. Our apprenticeship program provides learners with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge in Health and Social Care, equipping them with essential skills for a successful career in the industry. Your impact Ensure the highest training standards by adapting to learner needs. Cover a regional area and travel to learners’ workplaces for assessments. Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalised learning pathways. Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements. Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets. Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed. Keep detailed records of clients’ achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies. What are we looking for? Essential Relevant training experience and teaching qualifications (e.g., A1 Assessor award). Experience in an apprenticeship setting. Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Health and Social Care delivery. Full driving license and access to a vehicle. Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration. Welsh speaking is desirable. What’s in it for you?
