We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to spearhead the design and development of innovative, customer-centric products for a leading global manufacturing company. In this role, you will drive product development projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.

Project Manager’s Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Act as the primary authority on project management, guiding cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver projects successfully. Operate with autonomy to overcome challenges and achieve project goals.

• Project Definition: Establish clear project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with stakeholders’ expectations, ensuring actionable project plans are in place.

• Comprehensive Planning and Risk Management: Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, and identify potential risks. Collaborate with project teams and sponsors to proactively address challenges and implement risk mitigation strategies.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate efforts across key departments such as procurement, quality, and manufacturing to ensure seamless product development and introduction. Facilitate resource allocation to meet project milestones.

• Customer Engagement: Partner with clients to gather specific requirements and translate them into actionable project plans, ensuring alignment with internal capabilities while delivering customized solutions.

• Process Optimization: Champion a structured, disciplined approach to project execution. Embed best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management framework and quality systems.

• Scope Management and Change Control: Oversee project scope, ensuring that adjustments to timelines, costs, or deliverables are managed through formal change control processes. Escalate critical issues to senior leadership when necessary.

• Commercial Viability: Monitor project financials, including pricing strategies, supply chain costs, and manufacturing efficiencies, to ensure projects remain commercially sound throughout the development cycle.

• Stakeholder Management: Influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring accountability and project ownership. When required, operate outside the conventional reporting lines to drive project success.

• Project Transparency and Reporting: Deliver clear and concise project updates to stakeholders, tailoring communication to various audiences. Ensure visibility into project status, challenges, and outcomes.

• Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned from each project and leverage insights to enhance future project management practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Project Manager’s Key Performance Indicators:

• On-time and on-budget project delivery
• Innovation index (revenue contribution from new products)
• Achievement of product Bill of Materials (BOM) cost targets
• New product quality metrics
• Customer satisfaction with tailored product solutions
• Proactive management of project risks and change controls
• Ongoing enhancement of project management methodologies

Project Manager’ Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in project management within a manufacturing or product development environment.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Deep understanding of the technical, commercial, and operational aspects of product development.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, including risk management and change control processes.
