CLASS 2 HIAB DRIVER MONDAY – FRIDAY: 7AM STARTS £19.50 PER HOUR People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our well-established client based in Rugby. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. To be considered for this role you MUST have a valid grab HIAB licence. Benefits As a Class 2 HIAB Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Site car parking Day to Day Duties Your duties as a Class 2 HIAB Driver will involve but not be limited to: Delivering most building materials to construction sites Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Operating a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills As a Class 2 HIAB Driver you will need to: Must be able to work as a team Have a valid grab HIAB licence No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Must be able to use PDA (personal digital assistant) Hold a valid UK Category C Licence Hold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles Previous experience with multi drop deliveries Training Industry related training and ongoing support throughout will be provided.
